The 'Return to Brackenreach' seasonal event has been switched on in Euro Truck Simulator 2 by SCS Software. Giving the simulation even more seasonal flavour to experience. Regular players who use the simulation for their daily logging and logistics purposes now have a definite timeframe to work towards in order to collect special cosmetic items. From regular cargo deliveries, now a more focussed promotion based delivery missions in the simulation world.
SCS Software extends seasonal event to November 2026 with new cosmetic rewards
Giving the seasonal event a spooky feel, focussing on the Brackenhelm area and castle. The campaign has been set up to run up to 1st November 2026 by SCS Software. Plenty of time to get stuck into it. Note that the seasonal event is also active in American Truck Simulator so players over there can also receive their seasonal goodies.
For the more efficient hauler there is the 'Key to Brackenreach' truck decoration you can collect for 1,300,000 deliveries of promotional cargoes. That is a large number, all using the World of Trucks statistics system which collates your statistics between Euro Truck and American Truck Simulator. For smaller teams, players can focus on smaller objectives such as delivering 15 specific Halloween Cargo deliveries to receive a Wisp Lantern decoration.
Part of the seasonal campaign are specific route deliveries too. These missions will want you to deliver and receive some cargoes to/from Brackenhelm Castle. Discovering the hidden witch's house in the Brackenhelm area, for those who like to explore more too. So some extra objectives to entice you away from just working those large numbers.
It's interesting to see how this seasonal event comes after structural stability improvements in the latest Euro Truck Simulator 2 update. The developer seems to be consistently dropping content updates to keep the simulation feeling fresh for those long term players. Certainly a clear set of objectives if you want to give your truck fleet some customisations before the year's end.
