Microsoft announced the release of Forza Horizon 6 on May 19th. Forza Horizon 6 introduces eight new game modes, including Drifting, Time Attack, Drag Racing, Gymkhana, Tokyo Xtreme Racing, Highway Cruising, Rallying, and Cross Country. The title introduces several new modes including Drifting, Time Attack, and Drag Racing. Players also get their first look at Gymkhana, Tokyo Xtreme Racing, Highway Cruising, Rallying, and Cross Country. The included modes such as Highway Cruising, Rallying, and Cross Country broaden the racing experience beyond standard circuits.

The game features a roster of more than 550 real-world cars. Microsoft optimized the driving physics to provide smoother steering animations. The wheel rotation mechanics now support up to 540 degrees of turn. Visual fidelity receives a boost with support for RTGI and ray-traced reflections on PC. The game will support RTGI and ray-traced reflections on PC to enhance lighting realism and environmental reflections.

Eight new racing modes and improved graphics arrive May 19th on PC

The title includes accessibility features such as Granular High Contrast Mode, Car Proximity Radar, American and British Sign Language, and AutoDrive. The game includes Granular High Contrast Mode to assist players with visual impairments. Car Proximity Radar assists players in navigating traffic without depending exclusively on visual cues. The game includes support for both American and British Sign Language for accessibility features. AutoDrive functionality is available to assist players with complex racing maneuvers.

Multiplayer capabilities have been expanded to include co-op play. Players can team up with friends in co-op modes rather than racing alone. The update now supports multiplayer interactions across the platform. Multiplayer CoLab functionality enables shared progression and collaborative challenges within the game. The game positions itself as the most accessible Horizon title to date according to DSOGaming.
