If you want to play PS5 games on your PC, don't download recent software from GitHub. As reported by NordVPN in a security alert, fake emulators are actively sneaking malware onto computers. Such malicious software wants to take advantage of gamers who want to break free of the console’s limitations instead of offering a gameplay experience.

NordVPN warns that KyTyps5 and AnyPS5 are malware-infested GitHub archives
In particular, we’re talking about fake emulators called KyTyps5 and AnyPS5. According to NordVPN experts, malicious programs are shared as ZIP files with Windows executables. They impersonate legal emulation software to lure unsuspecting users into downloading and installing the software.
Then, as soon as malware is installed, it will start working as an infostealer. The malware will steal saved passwords, session cookies, and other private data of users from your computer. Moreover, the virus will hack Microsoft Defender to make it overlook some malicious files. And finally, the virus will self-clean about two minutes after starting.
As NordVPN explains, don’t use emulators from new repositories with little feedback and no link to official developer sites. Make sure you’re downloading software from a reliable source before downloading emulation software. So, you've been warned about security issues related to the unofficial gaming software.

Download from GitHub is a huge red flag. Real emulation projects never use random ZIP files.
