We now have all the details about the upcoming Redmi tablet. This one will be a hit for those who want a long-lasting tablet with expandable storage options. The emphasis is on enhancing the longevity of the tablet for usage per charge. The upgrade in the battery capacity will be a step forward to deal with the low endurance of entry-level tablets while on trips or jobs.

As per the certification listings, the 4G-ready tablet with VoLTE support bears the model number 26104RPF2G. It offers dual-band Wi-Fi for 2.4GHz and 5GHz connectivity. However, it misses out on the latest Wi-Fi 6E protocol.

It has Bluetooth connectivity for peripherals. The tablet is offering 4G connectivity alongside dual-band Wi-Fi for excellent wireless connectivity in the daily tasks. There is no need for Wi-Fi 6E.

A big highlight of the tablet is its power setup. It comes with BN90 batteries with 9,820mAh rated and 10,000mAh typical capacity. This is a major jump from its predecessor's 9,000mAh battery.

The tablet will come with a 15W MDY-18-EJ charger. But it will also be compatible with a 33W (MDY-16-EH) charger (sold separately). The tablet has three different memory configurations.

There are options for either 4GB/6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage or 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. Expandable storage via microSD cards is available up to 2TB.

Redmi is also improving the durability of the tablet. The tablet now has IP52 rating to withstand dust and splash. So, the tablet is more capable of handling different situations with its IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The UAE certifications of another model bearing the model number 2610FRP38G suggest that we might see a 5G-ready model. But we still don't have any confirmation in the current listings. All in all, the 10,000mAh typical battery with expandable storage up to 2TB and IP52 rating will make this a very handy tablet.

The certifications are reflecting the major specs of the upcoming Redmi Pad 3 4G model before the launch in the market. This will be an excellent second device with a large battery and expandable storage. With the 10,000mAh typical battery and IP52 rating, it is catering to the practical requirements of a tablet user. There are no words on the pricing and launch dates for now as the time draws near.
