GameSir is expanding its Fortnite lineup with six new themed controllers, giving mobile gamers more hardware options for their favorite battle royale. The announcement covers two distinct models, the G8 Plus and the X5 Lite for Xbox, each offering three unique character skins. These devices bring console-style physical triggers to smartphones and tablets, enhancing mobile gaming. Buyers who want a dedicated Fortnite setup now have specific hardware choices that include in-game cosmetic rewards.

GameSir expands its Fortnite lineup with six new themed controllers for mobile devices

The GameSir G8 Plus Fortnite Edition is designed for users who prefer a traditional gamepad layout with extra shoulder triggers. This controller retails for $89.99 and is scheduled to ship in October. It comes in three color variants, each tied to a specific Fortnite character and a corresponding in-game emote voucher. The Peely edition includes a voucher for the Bully emote, while the Cuddle Team Leader edition provides a Burpee emote. The Victory Royale variant offers a Gun Show emote redemption card.

The GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox Fortnite Edition offers a more compact and affordable alternative at $49.99. This clip-on controller connects via USB-C and supports both Android devices and iOS devices with MFi certification. It is available in three character skins: Durrr Burger, Black Knight, and Jonesy. Unlike the G8 Plus, GameSir has not yet disclosed which free emotes buyers will receive with the X5 Lite Fortnite Edition. The X5 Lite Fortnite Edition is currently available for pre-order on GameSir's website, though it is not listed on Amazon.

These new controllers expand GameSir's lineup of mobile gaming accessories with licensed Fortnite content. The G8 Plus offers a full-featured experience for players who prioritize ergonomics and additional triggers. The X5 Lite offers a budget-friendly option for casual mobile gamers with compatible phones. Both products enhance the Fortnite mobile experience by adding physical controls that standard touchscreens lack. The October shipping date for the G8 Plus sets a clear timeline for early adopters.
