Palworld players on PC and consoles can resume their expeditions without the visual glitches that marred recent sessions. PocketPair released hotfix 1.0.5 on September 14 to stabilize the game and introduce new content. This update matters to anyone who has struggled with low-resolution textures or lost map preferences after respawning.

Palworld Hotfix 1.0.5 addresses visual glitches in terrain and building textures.

PocketPair releases patch 1.0.5 to resolve visual glitches and add new content

The patch addresses specific technical failures that disrupted gameplay. PocketPair confirmed the fixes in a direct statement. The developer fixed an issue where terrain, building, and other textures could load at significantly reduced resolution for some players. The team also corrected a bug where some map icon filters could unintentionally be turned off after the player respawned.

Beyond stability, the update expands the game's narrative and combat mechanics. Players can now accept the new sub-missions "Beyond Dimensions" and "From the Far Side of the Moon." You find the "Beyond Dimensions" quest from an NPC at Fisherman’s Point in Mount Obsidian. The patch also adjusts skill priorities for summoned Pals and Base Pals to favor higher damage output.

PocketPair refined several character behaviors and stat values in this release. Mission target Pals and NPCs will no longer fall asleep during interactions. The developer adjusted Lapure’s swimming speed and the homing enhancement value from Lunaris Effigies. Gathering Ancient Bark now requires a Work Suitability level of 1, making resources more accessible. We looked at the last Palworld update earlier while tracking these recurring stability themes.
