Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Wind Pro on its Xiaomi Mall in China. The wall-mounted unit is a 1.5HP+ model that the company claims delivers the output of a bulkier 2HP floor-standing air conditioner.
Dual-cylinder compressor and dual-row copper condensers
The air conditioner uses a 13cc dual-cylinder compressor and dual-row pure copper condensers and evaporators. It offers a peak cooling capacity of 6500W and a heating capacity of 8800W. Xiaomi says the unit can start pushing cold air in 15 seconds and warm air in 30 seconds. A 118mm cross-flow fan distributes up to 1,000 cubic meters of air per hour. The unit has a Level 1 energy efficiency rating with an Annual Performance Factor of 6.30. Xiaomi estimates it uses about 404kWh less electricity per year than a standard Level 3 model.

The Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Wind Pro is available now on Xiaomi Mall in China at an introductory price of 3299 CNY (about $484). The regular retail price is 4899 CNY (about $719).
The air conditioner runs on HyperOS and uses a dedicated AI module for local processing. It can operate in outdoor temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C.
