Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Refrigerator French 400L Automatic Ice Maker. The new refrigerator can produce ice in about 60 minutes. It also features ion purification with an antibacterial rate of over 99.9%.

The refrigerator has a total capacity of 400 liters, split into a 216-liter fridge, a 50-liter variable temperature compartment, and a 134-liter freezer. The variable compartment can be adjusted between -1°C and 5°C. The appliance operates at a noise level of 35dB and comes with a 10-year compressor warranty. It has an apricot finish and a slim design that takes up about 0.4 square meters of floor space. The refrigerator supports the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem.
The Mijia Refrigerator is priced at 2999 CNY (about $440) in China. With a national subsidy, the effective price drops to 2549 CNY (about $374). Reservations are now open in China.
The refrigerator is part of Xiaomi's broader push into smart home appliances. It competes with other French-style refrigerators in the Chinese market that offer similar capacity and features.
