The device features a 1600G flow rate and uses dual-core precision filtration. This system filters up to 145 different contaminants from the water supply. The reverse osmosis filter has a seven-year lifespan before it requires replacement. Xiaomi integrated Zero Stagnant Water 3.0 technology into the unit to reduce leftover water between uses.

The purifier meets mother-and-baby-grade healthy water standards. It outputs BPA-free water without any scale inhibitors. The system achieves a purification rate of up to 68.1 percent and complies with China's highest national water-efficiency standard. Users can monitor the device through the Mi Home ecosystem app.
Xiaomi positioned this product for the Chinese market as indicated by its country-limited policy flag. The company has not shared pricing details or specific availability dates for international regions.

The Mijia Water Purifier 2 1600G joins a growing segment of smart home appliances that connect to centralized mobile applications for remote monitoring and control.
