Filming for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has wrapped. Director Jeff Fowler announced the milestone on May 15, 2026. The movie is set to release in 2027.

Kristen Bell voices Amy Rose

Metal Sonic is teased as the villain in the upcoming film. Amy Rose will be voiced by Kristen Bell. Sir Ben Kingsley and Nick Offerman have joined the cast.

The movie is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2027.

Jeff Fowler stated on behalf of the cast and crew that they have filmed the best Sonic movie yet. The project continues the live-action franchise based on the Sega video game series.
