RetroDECK is rolling out a major software update focused on cloud save functionality, introducing tools that let users back up and sync game progress across devices. The patch adds Ludusavi for general cross-device syncing and Grout as an alternative option to connect with self-hosted RomM servers. This release shifts the responsibility of hosting onto users rather than providing a built-in solution.

The update also revives support for Satellaview titles through a new client component called Satellaview+. This feature brings back the Japanese Super Famicom peripheral experience by adding broadcast functionality that requires players to connect at scheduled times. It allows emulation enthusiasts to access legacy content tied to those original regional broadcasts.
RetroDECK will not provide its own hosting solution for these cloud save tools. Users must configure Ludusavi or Grout themselves to manage their save files. RetroDECK will not provide its own hosting solution; users must configure the tools themselves.
