IGN released a seven-minute gameplay video for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The footage shows combat sequences and puzzle mechanics that players will encounter in the title.
New footage reveals combat and light-based puzzles in upcoming title
The game follows young Sophia as she navigates the 14th century as a plunderer. She travels to the Island of the Minotaur, where she faces traps, enemies, and a legendary creature tied to her destiny.
Sophia uses fast melee attacks to fight off pursuing armies while solving light-based puzzles with a Minoan sphere. Players shift between Sophia's medieval timeline and ancient Minoan eras to uncover a story connected to the Macula.
Microsoft will release Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27. The title takes place fifteen years before A Plague Tale: Requiem and expands the franchise's lore with new characters and settings.
