Panzer Knights: Commander’s Edition arrives on August 13, bringing a historically themed tank simulation to modern consoles. Players who enjoyed the game's earlier PC run can now take command of armored units on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. This release marks the title's first major step into the console market after years of development on Steam.
Physical PS5 edition bundles six bonus tanks with the base game
PQube publishes the game while Joy Brick handles development. The Commander’s Edition bundles the base game with three additional bonus content packs. These packs add six specific tanks to the roster, including the M4-748 Sherman, M26 Pershing, Churchill VII, Valentine XI, Panzer VIII Maus, and Elefant. The game blends hardcore strategy with anime-inspired visuals for third-person combat across European battlefields.

The simulation requires players to load specialized ammunition and target enemy weak points to succeed. Tactical support calls and crew management between missions add layers of complexity to the gameplay. A physical edition is available for PlayStation 5, offering collectors a tangible copy of the release.
The game previously launched in Early Access on Steam in October 2020 and reached full release in May 2021. This console version allows players to assemble elite tank crews by handpicking recruits with unique skills. Victory depends on cunning, adaptability, and precision in a conflict where every round counts.
