MSI is celebrating its 40th anniversary with two special edition motherboards that swap standard aesthetics for a dragon-inspired design. The MEG Z890 Ace Draco Epic and MEG X870E Ace Draco Epic carry the same specs as the regular Ace models, but their visual theme draws from the Draco constellation. For builders who want a unique look without compromising on features, these boards offer a cosmetic upgrade that stands out.
Two platforms, one dragon theme
The Draco Epic series includes one board for Intel's LGA 1851 platform and another for AMD's AM5 socket. The Z890 variant targets Intel Core Ultra processors, while the X870E version is built for AMD Ryzen chips. Both are positioned as high-end options within MSI's MEG lineup, which typically packs premium components and extensive connectivity.
