Krafted has launched a new power bank called the Edge on Kickstarter. The device is shaped like a laptop and is designed to sit under a laptop while in use. It also fits into a standard laptop bag for transport.
Four replaceable cells deliver 20,000 mAh capacity
The Edge power bank has a capacity of 20,000 mAh, which is approximately 72 Wh. It contains four user-replaceable 5,000 mAh battery cells. The device measures 27 x 19 x 1.28 cm and has an aluminum body. It features two USB-C ports that can output up to 65W and one USB-A port that outputs 18W. The power bank can be fully charged in two hours using a 45W charger.

The Edge is available for pre-order on Kickstarter at an Early Bird price of 139 USD (about $139). Shipping is expected to begin in July 2025.
Krafted claims the Edge can charge a laptop three to four times or a smartphone four times. However, these claims should be viewed with caution. The actual capacity and number of charge cycles may be lower than advertised, as real-world tests often show fewer charges. The voltage is not specified, which makes it difficult to estimate the true capacity.
