Microsoft and Xbox released the Collector's Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved, which sold out within hours across multiple platforms in the United States and the Americas. The rapid depletion of stock has triggered widespread frustration among fans who missed the initial purchase window.

Fans express frustration as scalpers resell the collector edition for up to seven hundred dollars online

The Collector's Edition includes a 12-inch Master Chief statue, an LED Cortana chip, and five days of early access to the game. Microsoft priced this upgraded version at $199.99 for consumers seeking additional physical merchandise alongside digital gameplay.

The product launches on July 28, but availability has already collapsed in key markets. Inventory sold out everywhere apart from in Europe, while all platforms ran dry in the United States and the Americas shortly after the announcement.

Scalpers have moved quickly to resell the Collector's Edition for $400 to over $700 on secondary markets like eBay. One X user criticized these buyers for hoarding stock because they cannot find an honorable way to make a living, while another directly asked Xbox if they would consider those unable to purchase due to scalper activity.

Microsoft has not announced any plans to release additional inventory or address the shortage through restocks. There is currently no word from Microsoft on whether or not there will be more stock released in the future for disappointed buyers.

The Collector's Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved remains unavailable at retail across most regions, with only Steam retaining some stock in Europe. Fans continue to seek clarification on potential restocks as resale prices remain elevated.
