The product launches on July 28, but availability has already collapsed in key markets. Inventory sold out everywhere apart from Steam in Europe, while all platforms ran dry in the United States and the Americas shortly after the announcement.
Scalpers have moved quickly to resell the Collector's Edition for $400 to over $700 on secondary markets like eBay. One X user criticized these buyers for hoarding stock because they cannot find an honorable way to make a living, while another directly asked Xbox if they would consider those unable to purchase due to scalper activity.
