Community tool replaces floating arms for immersive gameplay
The mod, named True First Person, replaces the standard floating-arms view with full-body visibility. Players can now see their character's legs, clothing, and equipment while exploring the wasteland. The perspective remains in first-person during specific actions like using workstations or entering power armor.
Installation requires the Fallout 4 Script Extender, known as F4SE, to function correctly. The modification is available exclusively for PC users and does not support Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 release remains locked out of modding capabilities entirely.
Community feedback on Nexus Mods and Reddit is largely positive despite the mod being in an unfinished state.
