Konami is rolling out version 6.0.0 of eFootball today to kick off the 2026/27 season. This update brings immediate changes to how players manage their squads and approach matches. The release matters because it introduces a new daily mini-game and reshapes team building limits.

The update adds a new daily mini-game called Daily Super Play. PlatinumGames, the studio behind Bayonetta and Nier Automata, developed this feature. Konami also introduced a new command called Dynamic Volley for in-game actions. Players can now select the Overload team playstyle to change their tactical approach.
Konami divided playing styles into Attacking and Defensive categories for this season. The update increases the maximum number of Backup Player Slots to 900. Manager slots have also grown, with the new limit set at 100. These changes allow managers to build deeper rosters without constant pruning.
The Moroccan League is now available for players to explore and manage. Parental controls received updates that require k-ID consent for minors in certain regions.
