Team Jade released the second anniversary update for Delta Force on September 8, bringing a wave of new content to the shooter. This patch, version 1.037.117, expands the game with fresh operators, maps, and gameplay modes. Players who enjoy tactical combat or casual side activities will find plenty to explore in this major release. The update also resets the mission structure, giving everyone a chance to start fresh with Season 11 objectives.

Delta Force players can now explore new maps and modes in the latest update.

New support operator and maps arrive with the second anniversary content

The most notable addition is Rowan Walsh, a new Support Operator known as Rover. He comes equipped with a dart rifle and a loyal dog companion that aids in combat. Team Jade stated that this update brings the game’s second anniversary content and events to players globally. This character addition changes the tactical dynamics for squads looking for support fire and tracking abilities.

Delta Force introduces two new maps to its roster. The Operations mode receives Layali Grove 2.0, which features new areas and a specific task called 'Bounty: Wave Breaker.' The Warfare mode gets The Mog, a map set in Mogadishu that focuses on intense street warfare. These environments offer distinct settings for players to test their skills in both large-scale and objective-based combat.

Several new modes and items round out the update. Players can now try Polaris Patrol, Fishing, or 1v1 matches in Operations. The Warfare mode adds the Amphibious LSV vehicle, available in Assault, Mortar, and Rocket Launcher variants. Two new weapons, the MDR Assault Rifle and the Thompson SMG, join the arsenal. The team also adjusted the balance for the M250 LMG, K437, M14, and M82 to refine gameplay.

The Polaris Patrol mode will become available on October 16, giving players more time to prepare for the new objective. We looked at the last Delta Force update earlier while tracking recent changes, and several of the same balance and stability themes came up in this patch. The update is live now for all global players, with the final mode arriving later this month.
