AMD's senior marketing director Saša Marinković posted a screenshot on X showing the top 15 Amazon best-seller CPU slots were exclusively Ryzen. The list highlights how consumer demand currently favors AMD processors over competing options from Intel in the United States market.
Ryzen processors hold top sales spots while Intel trails at number seventeen
The ranking data includes a mix of recent Zen 4 and Zen 5 chips alongside older Zen 3 parts. The top spot belongs to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, while the second position is held by the budget-friendly Ryzen 5 5500. This lower-tier model ranks high because it supports DDR4 memory, which remains in demand during current memory shortages.
The top 16 spots included only one non-CPU item, a Thermal Grizzly AM5 contact frame. Intel's highest-ranking processor was the Core i5-14600K at number 17 on the list. Newer Ultra series parts ranked higher than budget Arrow Lake options in this specific snapshot.
