Ugreen introduced a new 45W GaN charger in China that prioritizes extreme thinness over raw power. The Nexode Air 45W Ice Chip measures just 12.5 millimeters thick, which makes it one of the slimmest power bricks available for modern electronics.

Ultra-thin power brick offers international voltage support and advanced thermal monitoring
The device uses a single USB-C port to deliver up to 45 watts of output. It accepts input voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts, allowing travelers to use it with international power outlets without needing separate adapters or voltage converters.
Ugreen states that the charger is roughly 58 percent smaller by volume than its previous generation 45W models. The internal layout relies on high-density component placement to fit all necessary circuitry into a footprint of 62.2 by 42.74 millimeters while maintaining a weight of approximately 54 grams.
Thermal management in the unit depends on a Thermal Guard system that monitors temperature multiple times per second. The thermal management system uses a high-density layout and Thermal Guard monitoring to keep temperatures stable during extended use, eliminating the need for large external fans.
