The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 patch went live on October 19. Infinity Ward delivered initial stability improvements to the single-player campaign. This is important since the game is in early access for the story campaign right now.
Infinity Ward releases minor 700 MB update to fix credits sequence
Players can't yet access multiplayer features either. If you started playing Modern Warfare 4 you need this patch to make sure you don't have any issues with the credits sequence.
Infinity Ward called the new patch 1.110 a minor update. However, this patch is delivered via the main Call of Duty launcher. That means this patch also covers Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
This is a bigger update for the Call of Duty ecosystem. The main goal for Infinity Ward was to fix certain problems in the credits sequence.
The patch file size isn't very large. It's only 700 MB on PS5. The small file size makes it seem like Infinity Ward is making targeted changes rather than major changes to the game files. The update is 1.110 or 1.110.000 across all platforms.
Some players seem to have issues where they get stuck in the Opening Menu after installing the patch. They can't access the campaign. However, Infinity Ward hasn't acknowledged this bug yet.
Keep in mind you can't access multiplayer at all. So this is just affecting the single player right now.
