Asus has launched the Dawn 7 Pro laptop series in China. The series is designed for users seeking a balance between performance and portability. It is available now on JD.com.
Two screen sizes and multiple configurations
The Dawn 7 Pro comes in 14-inch and 16-inch models. Both are powered by AMD Ryzen AI processors. The chip is built on a 4nm process with six cores and 12 threads, reaching up to 3.4GHz.

Pricing starts at 7,999 yuan
Graphics are handled by integrated Radeon 840M. Ports include Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, USB-C, and RJ45. The 16-inch model packs a 70Wh battery with 65W USB PD charging. The system runs Windows 11 and comes with Microsoft Office.
Pricing starts at 7,999 yuan (about $1,178) for the 16-inch base model. The 14-inch model with Ryzen AI 5 430, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage costs 9,499 yuan (about $1,399). The top configuration with Ryzen AI 7 445 and same memory and storage is 9,999 yuan (about $1,472). A 16-inch variant with the Ryzen AI 7 445 is priced at 8,499 yuan (about $1,251).
Asus claims the system can deliver up to 54W of performance. The Dawn 7 Pro series is now available in China through JD.com.
