Cherry's Xtrfy K63W Pro changes how wireless gaming keyboards connect. It is the first to use low-energy ultrawide band (LE-UWB) instead of the crowded 2.4 GHz band. That means less interference and true 8,000 Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes.

Cherry acquired Xtrfy in 2022 and now releases the K63W Pro under the Cherry Xtrfy brand. The keyboard uses a 70% compact layout with a dedicated function row but no arrow keys. The compact layout targets gamers seeking a smaller footprint while retaining essential keys.

Pricing has not been announced. The K63W Pro goes on sale globally starting July 2. Regional availability and bundle options have not been announced.
The K63W Pro is not the first UWB peripheral. Gaming mice like the Elecom VM800 and Waizowl Cloud Ultra Nebula already use UWB. The keyboard applies LE-UWB technology to a new form factor emphasizing wireless 8K performance.
