Black Myth: Wukong Denuvo Crack by voices38 Group Confirmed

The Denuvo anti-tamper protection for the action role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong has been successfully cracked by the group voices38. This development marks the end of the software's primary digital rights management barrier, which was designed to prevent unauthorized copying and modification of the game files.

Protection system continues running in background after bypass applied

The cracking process required approximately one and a half years to complete since the game's initial release in August 2024. The resulting patch functions as a bypass rather than a complete removal of the Denuvo technology. The protection system continues to run in the background even after the bypass is applied.

Unlike previous methods that required disabling Windows security features, this specific crack operates without compromising the operating system's core security settings. Game Science has not removed Denuvo from the title, maintaining the status quo unlike other publishers such as Capcom and Square Enix who have stripped the protection from their games.

John Papadopoulos confirmed the breach by stating that Black Myth: Wukong is the latest victim of voices38. He also noted that the group will not allow any links to the crack to be shared publicly. This approach aligns with their standard policy of disseminating the technical achievement without facilitating widespread piracy distribution.
