Fosi Audio is launching two new audio products aimed at gamers: the C3 gaming sound card and the K7 desktop DAC/amp. The company says these devices will help players hear enemies more clearly in first-person shooters while also offering better sound quality for casual listening.

C3 gaming sound card targets competitive shooters while K7 desktop DAC/amp serves casual listeners

The C3 focuses on giving competitive players an edge by using a feature called StepSense. This technology analyzes audio from games like Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG to boost the sound of footsteps without changing the rest of your EQ settings. Fosi says it studied how footsteps sound in different game environments to make this work better.

Spec C3 Gaming Sound Card K7 DAC/AMP
StepSense positional audio Yes No
Hardware 7.1 spatial audio Yes No

The C3 also includes hardware-level 7.1 spatial audio processing, voice chat noise cancellation, and sidetone monitoring. You can connect gaming headsets or active speakers using USB-C, a 3.5mm mic port, optical, RCA line out, or coaxial cables. It works with PCs, PS5 consoles, and Nintendo Switch systems.

The K7 targets users who want higher quality audio for games, music, and movies. It uses an AK4493S DAC chip, TPA6120 headphone amps, and an XMOS XU208 USB processor to deliver 2100mW of power. This setup can drive high-end audiophile headphones while letting you adjust sound controls on its built-in LCD display.

The C3 costs $130 and the K7 is priced at $200, though it is currently discounted to $190. You can buy both devices from Fosi Audio's official website or through Amazon. The company says they are available for purchase right now in multiple regions.
