Oppo has relaunched the Pad Air 5 tablet in China with a new Starry White color variant. The refreshed model retains the original hardware but features higher pricing across all configurations.
New tablet features MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, 12.1-inch display, and standalone 5G connectivity
The entry-level configuration starts at 2,099 yuan (~$309) for the 8GB + 128GB version. This represents an increase from the previous launch price of 1,899 yuan. The top-end Soft Light model costs 2,999 yuan (~$442) for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

The tablet features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It includes a 12.1-inch LCD display with 2.8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo says the panel has German TÜV Rheinland anti-reflection certification.
The device measures 6.83mm thick and weighs just under 600 grams depending on the version. It supports standalone 5G connectivity in the SIM-enabled variant along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. The tablet runs ColorOS 16 out of the box with AI features like one-click PPT generation, note summarization, and cross-app content collection.
The new Starry White Edition goes on sale in China on May 29th through Oppo’s official channels.
