CEO of Epic Games Tim Sweeney has come forward to shed light on the situation with Fall Guys. There have been many speculations regarding Fall Guys ownership and situation. Sweeney has assured that the game is in the hands of Epic Games and Disney did not buy the game. This is significant information for the players who thought the game may have been left or sold off without any notice.

Sweeney denies Disney acquisition rumors and promises new features

Sweeney revealed that Fall Guys is currently receiving a major overhaul. With this overhaul, they are trying to unlock some new features that weren't possible with the game. We will get to know more about what kind of overhaul this is and when this will take place in the upcoming months, according to the CEO of Epic Games, Tim Sweeney.

There have been rumors about Fall Guys and Rocket League possibly moving to Unreal Engine 6. Sweeney didn't make any statements regarding a change in the technical engine of the games. He rather referred to it as a version or a rumor instead of a change. This isn't the main focus of the development and right now they are working on the overhaul.

This is the direct quote from Sweeney "No, but don't give up on Fall Guys. A major overhaul is underway that will enable new features." This is the main confirmation that Epic Games is still working on Fall Guys.
