Japannext has announced a new 21.5-inch touchscreen monitor for those who want to connect their laptop to a monitor with just one cable. The JN-IPST215F-HSPC6-W USB-C monitor can deliver up to 65W of power so that users can charge their laptop while connected. This is great for users who want to keep their desk looking clean, especially when there isn't much space on it.
New Japannext display adds 10-point touch and integrated KVM switch
This model features an IPS panel with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 75Hz refresh rate. It's capable of 10 touch points so that users can directly interact with the display. It has a 100% sRGB color gamut so that users get accurate colors for general use.

- Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD)
- Refresh Rate: 75Hz
- Touch Support: 10-point

Is the 65w pd pass-through enough to keep a thin ultrabook charged while pushing a 1080p touch interface at 75hz? I worry about thermal throttling on the laptop side.
65w is standard for most modern ultrabooks. The monitor draws from the usb-c port so it does not reduce the power budget for the laptop cpu. You are fine unless you are rendering video on the machine.
I need that kvm switch so badly but it is only in japan right now. Can I import this without killing my warranty? 🔥
Two 2w speakers are useless for media playback. You will need external audio anyway so do not count those specs as a bonus.
