Sony has added three new games to the PlayStation Plus Essential for the month of November. This will give you a new batch of games you can claim and enjoy this month. This means you can get Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, and Monster Train 2 added to your library this promo. With this move, you can be sure that there is something major to play from single-player games that you can get without spending more for those who are subscribed to the service monthly.
Sony adds three titles to the basic tier for the month
PlayStation Plus Essential is still the basic tier of their service. It offers a mix of games that you can play on a rotating basis. Sony is adding these games so they can give you more value if you keep your service active. This month, you get a mix of action adventure and strategy games that you can play depending on your preferences.
You can get Dead Island 2 for PS5 and PS4. So you can play this zombie slasher game even if you still use an older generation of consoles. Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered is available on PS5 and PS4.
This will let you play the classic survival horror series with your modern controllers. You can get Monster Train 2 for PS5. This is a single-player deckbuilding roguelike for PS5 specifically. This game is also perfect if you want to test your strategy skills.
You can claim all these games from November 3 to November 30. This will allow you to add them to your library. After claiming it, you can keep on playing it as long as you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus Essential. This means you will always have access to them if you are subscribed to the service.
This is not the first time we're seeing the rotation of games on a monthly basis. Sony is making sure they are always providing you with a mix of 3rd party big titles as well as indie games. It's a standard pattern of claimable games with expiration dates to keep you engaged with the service.
For this month of November, it's no different. They are not adding new tiers or anything new to the subscription itself.
