Team Ninja is getting tremendous backlash from those who played the alpha build of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. Over half the players have rated the game negatively. The main reason behind this is the game having serious issues with its performance which has ruined the entire experience for the testers. It means that the developers have to prioritize optimization work before the game’s release.
Team Ninja prioritizes fixing frame drops and stuttering before the 2027 release
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is the sequel to the popular action game made by Team Ninja. In this game, they’ve introduced a new combat system which pushes players into a more active playstyle. It has been admitted that the current alpha version of the game is having problems with frame drops and stuttering on PC.
After the mixed responses of the alpha build of the game, Team Ninja has to make the optimization work the first priority for their development now. They need to work on the instability of the game and make it more fluid. Developers are putting in all the efforts to get the game optimized so that it can run smoothly on the target platform.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be released on March 4, 2027. It’ll be available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.
