Longplay Studios makes a free zombie survival adventure that goes against the grain of the usual combat focus for zombie games. It’s interesting because now you can have a short-time game that makes sense for people who want to experience the Terminus universe but don’t want to grind away at the main game. The game comes out on the 18th of November 2026 and it’s free to download!
Standalone adventure launches November 18 on Steam
In this new game called Terminus: Day Zero, it’s a standalone story in the universe of their main game (Terminus: Zombie Survivors). You play as Daisy, a defenseless child who needs to avoid and evade zombies instead of fighting them. Which means it’s a different, intense survival experience from the tactical fighting of the main series.
The game is about 1 hour long for the whole adventure, according to the studio. It’s such a short play session that it makes it really easy to play, either as a new gamer or a quick pit stop for a veteran of the franchise. On November 18th, you’ll be able to download this game globally on the Steam platform.
The main game Terminus: Zombie Survivors is a turn-based roguelike survival game. The studio says it has over 150,000 copies sold. So the success of their main game makes sense for the standalone adventure. But the fact that it’s free is great because it means they can get more people to play their game without having to shell out any money at first.
