Samsung has introduced a range of new monitors for 2026, including the industry's first 6K gaming display. The lineup spans the Odyssey gaming series, ViewFinity productivity monitors, and a Movingstyle Essential model.
Odyssey G8 leads with 6K resolution
The Odyssey G8 is a 32-inch 6K IPS monitor with a resolution of 6,144 x 3,456 pixels. It runs at 165 Hz natively and can switch to 3K resolution at 330 Hz via Dual Mode. The 27-inch Odyssey G7 offers 5K resolution at 180 Hz, with a dual mode to 360 Hz at QHD. Both support HDR10, HDR10+ Gaming, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium. The Odyssey OLED G7 is a 32-inch 4K panel with 165 Hz, 0.03 ms response time, and 1,300 nits peak brightness. The Odyssey OLED G8 comes in 27-inch and 32-inch 4K options at 240 Hz with 1,000 nits peak brightness. On the productivity side, the ViewFinity S8 S85TH is a 40-inch curved 5K2K monitor with 144 Hz and Thunderbolt 5 connectivity. The ViewFinity S8 S80HF is a 27-inch flat 5K monitor at 60 Hz. The Movingstyle Essential is a 43-inch 4K monitor with an adjustable stand.
