Fire & Frost and publisher tinyBuild are bringing the third-person RPG Of Ash and Steel to and Xbox Series consoles. This port expands the game's reach beyond its initial PC release, giving console players access to the title. The move matters because it introduces the game to a broader audience that prefers dedicated gaming hardware over personal computers.

Third-person RPG expands to consoles alongside Shattered Faith DLC

The game previously launched on PC via and GOG on November 6, 2025. It is now expanding to the two major current-generation console platforms. This shift allows players who own PS5 or Xbox Series consoles to experience the game without needing a PC setup.

A new DLC titled 'Shattered Faith' is in development alongside the console ports. This expansion adds new content to the base game as it transitions to new platforms. The simultaneous development suggests a coordinated effort to support the game across all formats.

No release dates have been announced for the console versions or the DLC. Players will need to wait for official confirmation on when these versions will become available. The lack of dates creates uncertainty for those eager to play on console.

The confirmed facts are the console ports for PS5 and Xbox Series and the development of the 'Shattered Faith' DLC. The PC launch date remains November 6, 2025. The absence of release dates for the new content and platforms is the primary unknown.
