Retroid has revealed the pricing and full specifications for its new dual-screen Android handhelds, the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite. These devices target retro gaming enthusiasts who want a compact clamshell form factor with high refresh rates. The announcement clarifies the hardware tiers and entry costs for the upcoming lineup.

Dual-screen handhelds target retro gamers with OLED and TFT options

The flagship Pocket Duo features a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 OLED display on top and a 4.5-inch 1280×960 OLED screen below. Both panels run at 120Hz and are powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-7790 processor. It ships with Android 16 and includes 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.

Retroid offers the Pocket Duo Lite as a more budget-friendly alternative with dual 60Hz TFT panels. The top screen measures 5.5 inches at 1920×1080, while the bottom screen is 4.2 inches at 1280×960. This model uses the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6125 processor and runs Android 15.

Both devices include a 6000mAh battery, though the Duo supports 27W charging while the Lite uses 18W. Connectivity differs slightly, with the Duo offering Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, while the Lite provides Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The Lite comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM/64GB storage or 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

The Pocket Duo costs $269, with a pre-order price of $249 using the code DUO. The Pocket Duo Lite starts at $149 for the base model and $169 for the 6GB version. Pre-order discounts drop these prices to $135 and $155 respectively with the code DUOLITE. Retroid has not yet announced specific pre-order or release dates.
