Ugreen DXP6800 Ultra NAS Launches With Core 5 120U and 208 TB Storage

Ugreen has released two new network-attached storage systems that target users who need massive capacity and high-speed connectivity. The DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra offer significant storage upgrades and modern processor speeds for home and small office servers. Buyers who require dual 10G Ethernet or Thunderbolt 4 expansion can now access these features in a pre-built chassis.

The entry-level DXP6800 Ultra runs on an Intel Core 5 120U processor and includes six drive bays. The higher-end DXP8800 Ultra steps up to an Intel Core 7 150U chip and provides eight drive bays for additional storage density. Both systems share the same chassis design and connectivity options, allowing users to choose based on their CPU and capacity needs.

Storage capacity scales significantly with the number of bays, supporting up to 208 TB in the six-bay model and 272 TB in the eight-bay version. Each unit features dual M.2 NVMe slots for fast system or cache storage. Memory starts at 8 GB of DDR5 RAM but expands up to 96 GB across both models.

Connectivity includes dual 10G Ethernet ports and dual Thunderbolt 4 connections for high-bandwidth data transfer. The I/O panel also provides dual 10 Gbps USB Type-A ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, and HDMI output. Ugreen claims the new Core 5 and Core 7 processors deliver roughly 4% and 16% faster multi-threaded performance than the previous Core i5-1235U.

The DXP6800 Ultra is priced at $1,450 and the DXP8800 Ultra costs $1,780. Both systems are available for purchase now on Amazon.

These models join Ugreen's expanding NASync lineup, offering more storage and processing power than earlier iterations. The focus on dual 10G Ethernet and Thunderbolt 4 addresses the growing demand for fast local network speeds in modern home labs.
