Starry Studio is bringing Once Human to and Xbox Series on August 25. This console launch expands the post-apocalyptic survival game to players who prefer dedicated hardware over personal computers. The move allows a broader audience to join the multiplayer experience without needing a high-end gaming rig.

Starry Studio brings post-apocalyptic survival game to consoles

Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Starry Studio describes the core loop as a chance to join forces with friends to fight for survival. Players must construct their sanctuary and conquer terrifying aberrations to unravel the truth behind the apocalypse.

The game launches on PS5 and Xbox Series on August 25. The PC version will be made available via Microsoft Store alongside the console release. This distribution choice keeps the PC platform within the Microsoft ecosystem rather than third-party storefronts.

The game itself is free-to-play and does not require any purchase to start. Starry Studio offers a Starter Pack bundle for those who want to begin with extra items. The bundle is available to pre-order for 9.99 USD (around $9.99) in the United States.
