Bathroom heating and ventilation have become smarter with the launch of the Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater 2. Xiaomi introduced this device to help users manage humidity and temperature more precisely in small spaces. The unit combines rapid heating with continuous air circulation to keep the environment comfortable.

Smart ventilation device brings radar detection and rapid air exchange to home bathrooms

The hardware centers on a 3,000W PTC graphene heating element that Xiaomi claims heats up quickly and conducts heat efficiently. This power output drives a dual-fan, single-duct design powered by dual DC inverter motors. The system moves up to 300 m³/h of air to ensure rapid circulation throughout the room.

Key Specifications

  • Heating Power: 3,000W PTC graphene element
  • Airflow: 300 m³/h with dual DC inverter motors
  • Sensors: Dual 24GHz millimeter-wave radars, VOC, temp/humidity
  • Lighting: 1,600 lumen LED with stepless dimming
  • Price: 1,117 yuan (around $166)

Sensors form the core of the device's intelligence. It features an advanced temperature and humidity sensing system alongside a built-in VOC sensor. Dual 24GHz millimeter-wave radars detect human presence to trigger automatic operation. A 1,600 lumen high-brightness LED with stepless dimming provides adjustable lighting.

Users control the unit through Xiaomi’s Smart Connect system, the Mi Home app, or Xiao Ai voice commands. The digital display panel also allows for manual adjustments. Xiaomi states the airflow is sufficient for a full air change in as little as 90 seconds. This speed helps reduce condensation and improve air quality after showers.

The Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater 2 is now up for pre-sale in China. It is listed at Xiaomi Youpin and JD.com at 1,117 YUAN (around $166) CNY (around $166). The brand has not announced a global launch date as of writing. Buyers in other regions will need to wait for further information on international availability.

This launch adds a dedicated smart ventilation solution to Xiaomi's home ecosystem. The device targets users who want automated climate control without manual intervention. The combination of radar detection and rapid heating addresses common bathroom comfort issues.
