Port specialist Virtuos has expressed interest in bringing Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to Nintendo Switch. Technical director Andy Fong said the team is eager to adapt both games for the platform.

Virtuos previously ported LA Noire, XCOM 2, and The Outer Worlds to Switch. The studio also worked on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Fong stated that the team are big fans of the games and believe they can shine again on Switch, delighting more players. The comments were made in an interview with Pocket Tactics and reported by Videogameschronicle.

It remains unclear whether Rockstar Games or Nintendo have any plans to bring the titles to Switch. Virtuos has not confirmed any active development or official partnerships for these ports.
