TP-Link has introduced its first consumer WiFi 8 routers, marking a shift toward the next generation of wireless networking standards. These new devices bring significantly higher data rates to home networks, which matters for users managing heavy bandwidth demands like 8K streaming or large file transfers. The Archer 8 Ultra and Deco 8 Ultra models are designed to handle modern connectivity loads that older routers struggle to support.

The Archer 8 Ultra, identified by model numbers BN800 and BN19000, is a standalone router built for speed and range. It features 18 internal high-performance antennas to maximize signal strength and consistency across a home. The Deco 8 Ultra, model BN22000, operates as a mesh system to eliminate dead zones in larger properties.
