A new open-source project called low_latency_layer brings NVIDIA Reflex and AMD Anti-Lag 2 support to AMD and Intel GPUs on Linux, reducing input lag in games like Counter-Strike 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.

A new open-source project called low_latency_layer brings Reflex and Anti-Lag 2 support to AMD and GPUs on . The project implements the VK_NV_low_latency2 and VK_AMD_anti_lag Vulkan extensions. It works with any GPU, bypassing the need for official driver support.

Tested on popular games with latency improvements

The project was tested on Counter-Strike 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Requiem, and Marvel Rivals. According to Phoronix, low_latency_layer delivered the best latency in those games, beating the Mesa Linux implementation and even official Windows implementations. Installation requires manual file changes and command-line commands.
