Torn Banner Studios has released the "Resupply" update for No More Room in Hell 2, bringing immediate changes to how players survive the outbreak. This patch matters because it introduces a completely new way to experience the Pottsville map and adds gear that changes combat dynamics. Players looking for fresh challenges or better weapon customization should apply this update right away.

New rooftop extraction mode and weapon attachments arrive in patch 1.1

The update, designated as version 1.1 or 1.007, centers on a new scenario called Pottsville #2. This mode flips the standard survival loop by dropping players directly onto Downtown rooftops instead of starting in safe zones. The studio described the shift as a reverse run where teams must align antennas and burn bodies to prevent NPV-26 outbreaks.

Combat gets a boost with four new firearm attachments: muzzle brakes, compensators, laser sights, and shotgun chokes. The studio noted that the new scenario offers a unique perspective on the map's familiar surroundings. A teaser from the developers highlighted the intensity of the fog, stating, "There’s no other 'Responder' in the deep fog, you’ll never get a better look at him."

Balance changes affect difficulty settings and map layouts to improve gameplay flow. Normal difficulty now includes a final respawn window, while Nightmare difficulty shifts horde composition at threat level 10. The Broadway map received adjustments to the Diner objective, and the Power Plant map updated its item spawning logic. Movement mechanics also changed to equalize strafing speed while backpedaling with straight movement speed.

The studio revealed a 2026 roadmap promising two new survival maps, Hell Mode, new weapons, and UX improvements for Autumn and Winter 2026. We looked at the last No More Room in Hell 2 update earlier while tracking balance and stability themes. The current patch serves as a foundation for these larger future additions.
