LG has released the UltraGear Evo 45GX950B, a new 45-inch OLED gaming monitor designed for the Japanese market. The display features a native 5,120 x 2,160 resolution, which the company refers to as 5K2K. The 5,120 x 2,160 resolution delivers sharp visuals for gaming and productivity tasks on the large 45-inch display.

The LG UltraGear Evo 45GX950B features a native 5,120 x 2,160 resolution.

The monitor operates at a default refresh rate of 165 Hz. It includes a built-in processor that upscales content from any connected device to the full 5K2K resolution. Users can also activate a dual mode that cuts the resolution to 5,120 x 1,080. The Dual Mode setting at 5,120 x 1,080 enables the panel to operate at a higher refresh rate of 330 Hz for competitive gaming.

Brightness performance varies significantly between standard and high dynamic range content. The screen peaks at 275 nits in SDR mode. It rises to 1,300 nits in small areas when viewing HDR content. The monitor features integrated speakers rated at 7 watts.

The monitor is available in Japan for JPY 259,800 (approximately $1,653). The manufacturer's suggested retail price in Japan is JPY 329,800 (about $2,100). Pre-orders are available in Japan.
