Lenovo has added a new budget option to its Lecoo Mini Pro lineup, targeting users who need a compact desktop without spending a fortune. This update matters because it offers a complete, upgradeable system for under $450, which is rare for modern mini PCs. Buyers looking for a space-saving machine for office work or light gaming now have a concrete choice in this price bracket.

Compact 0.8-liter desktop features upgradeable RAM and storage for budget buyers

The new configuration centers on the Ryzen 5 7430U processor, which belongs to the older Cezanne generation. This chip provides six Zen 3 cores and integrates the Radeon RX Vega 7 graphics engine. Lenovo paired this APU with 16GB of DDR4 RAM to ensure smooth multitasking for everyday tasks.

Specifications

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7430U (Cezanne, 6 Zen 3 cores, Radeon RX Vega 7 iGPU)
  • Memory: 16GB DDR4 RAM (2x SO-DIMM slots, user-upgradeable)
  • Storage: 512GB SSD (2x 2280 M.2 slots, user-upgradeable)
  • Chassis Size: 0.8-liter
  • Connectivity: WiFi 5, 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x USB-C (PD 140W, DP 1.2 alt), 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 2x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x 3.5mm audio

Storage and expandability remain practical for long-term use. The system includes a 512GB SSD and features two 2280 M.2 slots for additional drives. Memory is also user-upgradeable via two SO-DIMM slots, allowing owners to add more RAM later. The entire setup fits into a small 0.8-liter chassis, making it easy to mount behind a monitor.

Connectivity options focus on wired stability rather than cutting-edge wireless speeds. The unit supports WiFi 5 and includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports for reliable network connections. Video output is handled by one DisplayPort 1.2 and one HDMI 2.1 port, while the USB array offers two Type-A 3.2 ports and one Type-C port with 140W power delivery. The integrated Vega 7 graphics can handle light emulation and less demanding games.

We looked at Lenovo ThinkPad E14 E16 Get Intel in our earlier Lenovo coverage to see how this mini PC fits into the broader market. The Lecoo Mini Pro lacks the USB4 port found in higher-end Lenovo models, so it cannot support external GPU docks. This tradeoff keeps the price down but limits high-performance graphics expansion.

The Ryzen 5 variant is priced at 2999 CNY (around $442) in China. Lenovo lists this price on JD.com, making it an accessible entry point for budget-conscious builders. The system ships with a basic configuration that users can upgrade themselves over time.
