Lenovo is giving laptop users a more flexible charging option with a new 150W GaN adapter that packs three USB-C ports. The compact charger lets you power a notebook and two smaller devices from a single wall brick, cutting down on cable clutter.
Three USB-C ports deliver up to 140W each
The adapter uses gallium nitride (GaN) technology to keep size down while delivering higher wattage. It is aimed at users who carry multiple USB-C gadgets and want one charger for all of them. Lenovo launched the product first in China, with no word yet on global release.

Each of the three USB-C ports can handle fast charging. The first two ports, labeled C1 and C2, deliver up to 140W each. The third port, C3, tops out at 65W. When all three are in use, the total output is capped at 150W.
The charger supports PPS, PD 3.2, and QC 3.0 fast charging protocols, making it compatible with a wide range of laptops, tablets, and phones. It also includes over-current and over-temperature protection for safety. In China, the adapter is priced at 339 CNY (about $50.06).
