Updated mechanics and 5-player support arrive in 2027
Helvetia is a strategy game with elements of city building in the Swiss Alps. The first version in German was released in 2011. Since that time the board game remained on Kickstarter.
The new version is not an individual continuation, but the Second Edition of the board game. Second Edition is created in order to make better core of the game with the alpine city theme intact.
With the Second Edition of Helvetia, the developers offer the updated mechanics to make the game better and more simple to play. One of the changes is the support of the larger range of the number of players. Helvetia now can be played from 1 to 5 people.
All the changes are directed to simplify the process of making choices in the city building system. In other words, it will be more convenient to play either alone or with more people.
The pre-orders for the Russian language version will start in the second quarter of 2027. It will give the company Crowd Games a chance to create local resources for the Russian version of the board game.
