Some players have been able to play LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight months before its planned release. The game became fully playable for a small group of users who pre-ordered through Walmart. Those who received a digital code could download and start the game early.

Reddit user reports early access via Walmart code

A Reddit user reported that after pre-ordering the game, they received a notification that it was ready to start. They were able to launch and play the title. However, the early access was later patched out, locking out players who had gained access. The game is currently not officially available.

The leak was reported by Insider Gaming. TT Games has not commented on the early access incident. It remains unclear whether the pre-order codes were issued in error or if the game's release date has been affected.

LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight is an upcoming title from TT Games. The game is expected to launch in May 2026. No official details about pricing or availability have been announced.
