iFlytek has introduced the Fika, a compact e-reader designed with a smartphone form factor. The device is designed for readers seeking portability while maintaining adequate screen space and features.

Compact device offers a distraction-free reading environment with LTE support
The Fika features a 6.13-inch Carta 1300 monochrome E Ink display that operates at 300 pixels per inch. It includes an adjustable warm light and iFlytek's IFR 2.0 fast refresh algorithm to reduce motion blur during page turns.
Under the hood, the device runs on an unnamed 6nm MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The system ships with Android 15, which includes a dedicated focus mode that hides applications to create a distraction-free reading environment.
The Fika supports Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 6, and 4G cellular connectivity. Buyers receive 2GB of free mobile data per month for one year. A physical AI button allows users to scan displayed text for relevant queries or supplementary content.
iFlytek priced the Fika at ¥2399 in China. The device is available in Flat White and Iced Americano color options.
This release follows the earlier launch of the larger, tablet-sized Air 3 series. The Fika offers a smaller form factor for those preferring phone-sized handhelds.
According to iFlytek, the battery endurance reaches seven days with two hours of daily usage or three weeks in standby. It weighs 140 grams with dimensions of 159.4 x 80.3 x 6.7 mm.
