Huawei has introduced the Qingyun L420z business laptop to replace its older L420x model. This update matters to enterprise buyers because it adds a high-refresh OLED screen and modern ports to a durable chassis. The new laptop features a 14.2-inch OLED touchscreen with a 2880 by 1920 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on an undisclosed processor paired with LPDDR5x quad-channel memory. The system supports domestic operating systems such as Galaxy Kylin and UnionTech.

Huawei claims the Qingyun L420z boots 26 percent faster than the previous generation. The vendor states that opening large PowerPoint files is 15 percent faster and copying large files is 32 percent faster. The device includes military-grade durability testing and hardware encryption for security.
The chassis weighs 1.32kg and measures 14.5mm in thickness. It houses a 70Wh battery that provides up to 14 hours of local 1080p video playback. The port selection includes one full-featured USB-C, two USB-A ports, HDMI, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. A 1080p webcam with a physical privacy switch is also included.
Huawei has not yet revealed the price or availability of the Qingyun L420z. The processor model remains undisclosed in current reports. Buyers must wait for official details to determine final costs and release dates.
