Honor introduced the X6e smartphone in Malaysia on July 30, 2024, targeting budget-conscious buyers who prioritize battery life over high-end performance. The device addresses a common pain point for heavy users by packing a massive 7,500 mAh battery into a 4G-enabled chassis. This configuration allows the phone to last significantly longer between charges compared to standard budget models, making it a practical choice for users who travel or work far from power outlets.

Budget smartphone adds massive battery and drop resistance

The X6e runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, which pairs with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This hardware combination supports basic multitasking and light mobile gaming without requiring a premium price tag. The device operates on Android 16-based MagicOS 10 out of the box, ensuring users get the latest software features from day one.
